Formal commitments to corporate social responsibility
Since 2006 Banco La Hipotecaria and Subsidiaries has complied with IFC Performance Standard 2, assuming formal a commitment to treat its employees fairly, and providing safe and healthy working conditions.
Since 2010 Banco La Hipotecaria formally assumed a commitment to comply with the conditions stated in the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation Environmental and Social Policy Statement.
In early 2017 Banco La Hipotecaria and Subsidiaries became an adherent to the United Nations Global Compact, aligning its operations and strategies with the universal principals in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption.
